- My love of stainless steel is no secret. Ever since Belle and I started entertaining the thought of butt plugs, stainless is what I craved.

- So before I get into my review proper, lets talk a little bit about the Metal Worx controversy. If the design above looks a bit familiar, there is about an 80% chance you are confusing it with the Njoy Prostate Pfun Plug. I would love to compare and contrast both models but I can’t. I have never owned any Njoy products but I hope to someday. At face value, Pipedream, the makers of the Metal Worx line, appear to have “borrowed” several designs from Njoy for their line. That turned me off towards the line at first. I wasn’t very familiar with Pipedream at the time. After reviewing a couple of their other toys, they have won me over. Also, doing some more looking around, I saw some VERY interesting original designs in the Metal Worx line. My curiosity was sufficiently peaked. The quality uncertainty was still there right up to the point I opened the box…

- Wait a minute, we can’t gloss over that box! Immediately impressed. The Luv Plug arrived in the most awesome packaging of any sex toy I have ever owned, hands down! The box itself appears to be metal but the majority of it is plastic. No worries, it still looks mighty badass. Opening the latch reveals a plastic wrapped Luv Plug seated firmly in high density foam. Love it.
- On to the plug itself. The weight shocked me. At 10 oz, this thing felt extremely heavy. That just got me more excited. I was going to feel this plug, that was for sure.

- I have seen some reports of finish problems on Metal Worx items. Discoloration and such. I had no issues whatsoever. My plug was perfect in every way. I looked hard to find a flaw and there were no defects.
- The only thing I don’t care for appearance-wise is the rhinestone on the handle/base. I think it cheapens an otherwise high class looking toy. Not a deal breaker.

- It was time to try this thing out and see if it was as awesome as it looked.
- I lubed the plug generously while Belle got ready. Water or silicone based lube will do. We opted for water based.
- Insertion was absolute heaven. Never has a toy slipped inside me so easily. There was no discomfort at all, only pleasure. Once it was fully inserted, Belle spent a minute or to gently moving it around and tapping on the base. Each tap echoed through the entire device and traveled directly to my prostate. Fucking awesome!

- I wasn’t expecting it but Belle allowed me to make love to her. In the missionary position, the weight of the plug meant that each thrust caused it to rock a bit and hit my prostate. I had never felt anything like this before.
- Belle gave me permission to orgasm and I was extremely relieved. It wasn’t a minute later that I exploded with an intensity that made me speechless. Yes, this plug is awesome.
- So what about long term wear? I tried this out a couple days later. I don’t have much experience in wearing a butt plug. Prior to the Luv Plug, I had only worn The Bootie out for a couple of hours and it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. I couldn’t handle the Luv Plug for long. I’m not sure if it was the weight or what but I had to take it out after about 30 minutes. I think this act is something you have to work up to and I will definitely be trying it again. One thing is certain. Every time this plug goes in, I get hard instantly.
- Also, I want to briefly mention the fact that this plug holds temperature like there is no tomorrow! The second time I used it, it had been in a particularly chilly part of our house for a few hours and it was COLD when I put it in. It felt awesome! Haven’t experimented with heat yet but I can see it being great as well.
- Now for some more controversy. Material. I could find nowhere on Pipedream’s site where it says this (or any of their Metal Worx line) is indeed stainless steel. Their description of “high quality steel” leads me to believe it is not stainless. I have done some looking around and this debate raged on in a forum that I came across. A member of the Pipedream’s marketing team spoke up and stated that their products were indeed stainless. Another poster’s pictures of one of the products being filed down seemed to suggest otherwise. I won’t be filing my plug down, just be warned that this plug may not be solid stainless steel and take precautions to prevent rusting just in case.
- What precautions? Always dry the plug thoroughly prior to storing. Cleaning the plug itself is easy. Toy cleaner is recommended, but it can be sufficiently cleaned with soap and hot water.
- This plug is now my favorite anal toy. It is going to take something pretty special to knock it out of this top spot.

Belle’s Thoughts
- Steel is an obsession of mine when it comes to accessories for my husband’s private parts. We went straight to it with his chastity device, because the sight of the plastic ones turned me off. A butt plug is really no different. Why, I don’t know. I guess that is just the way I am wired. When the Luv Plug arrived I opened it to send Jnuts a picture at work. I knew it would get him hot and bothered knowing it was on the counter at home and he was there, stuck in meetings all day. I was immediately impressed with the smoothness and quality appearance. Then I was floored at the weight. As with most anal toys that we use, I was thankful that it was for him, not me.
- Insertion was very easy. A slight bit of pressure and it slid right in unlike many of the other silicone ones we have used. I am not sure if it was the difference in materials or the shape, but insertion was not an issue. I have no idea what it felt like, but all I can say is that the looks on his face and the fact that his eyes rolled into the back of his head with every thrust tells me that it was very good.
- Next step is putting him in his steel chastity device and Luv Plug at the same time. Steel filling his ass while restricting his cock. What a sight that will be.
