- There are so many reasons I love Fun Factory. They always use great materials, most of their products are waterproof, they use the same charger for all their toys, they are usually quiet, and they are usually powerful toys. I was elated to get my hands on another Fun Factory in the Bimini collection the Fun Factory Bimini Ocean. The Ocean is a small rabbit style vibe, but it is powerful and easy to use.

- The Bimini line from Fun Factory are small powerhouse rechargeable vibes. They have small clitoral shafts (a nub in Ocean’s case) so they are not going to work for every girl’s anatomy. The clitoral shaft is short and at first I didn’t think it would work for me at all. I needed to angle to shaft to get it just right, but then it worked very well. The Bimini Ocean has only one motor and works with a two button interface. The majority of vibrations can be felt on the tip of the Ocean’s main shaft curl. I have to say that both the Ocean’s curls do a good job of carrying the vibrations to the surface.
- The shaft is smooth with some textured ridges. The silicone on this toy is pretty squishy. Both of the curls on the Fun Factory Ocean are bendable but firm enough to provide pressure. The g-spot curl on the shaft is perfect in size and the vibrations it delivers are really strong. The problem is that the shaft only inserts about 3″, so this will work only if you have a shallow g-spot. It didn’t work for my g-spot but the vibrations on the shaft along with the textures made it very enjoyable for short thrusting. As a nice bonus, using the g-spot curl clitorally feels fantastic.
- The buttons for the Ocean are located near the plastic base of the toy on the opposite side of the clitoral nub. I found this vibe very easy to use. Just hold down the (+) button for a few seconds and it starts off in the lowest vibrations. The Fun factory Ocean has eight levels of vibrations, so this vibe will work even for those who don’t have the need for a lot of power. The vibe also has three different patterns that are accessible after getting to the highest vibration setting. The (-) button will take you back through the vibrations levels. Once you get to the lowest level, just click it once more to turn it off.
- The Fun Factory Ocean uses the Click n’ Charge magnetic charger. The charger attaches with an audible click on the base of the vibe right over the Fun factory logo. The Fun Factory logo on the charger lights up when it is charging. It glows red when it is charging and turns white when it is fully charged. The first charge may take up to 12 hours. The nice thing about Fun Factory is that the charger says the company name right on it. I have 20 or more chargers and they are almost all black, the Fun Factory chargers are easy to pick out since they are round and have the logo right on them. The charger for Fun Factory toys comes separate. The packaging is exactly the same as the Bimini Flash that I reviewed almost a year ago. The packaging comes with detailed care and maintenance instructions in about eight different languages. It also comes with an advert for the whole Fun Factory line of toys and a sample of Toyfluid, which is Fun Factory’s own water-based lubricant. The packaging is very nice and would make a good gift (just don’t forget that the charger comes separate). All Fun Factory chargers are interchangeable and can be used on other Fun Factory toys.
- The Fun Factory Ocean is a whisper quiet vibe. It has a nice deep rumbly vibrations that will not be heard through covers across the room. The Ocean is completely waterproof, so take this toy in the tub, shower or pool and enjoy some water fun! The Ocean is easy to clean and made of non-porous silicone. Silicone will not harbor bacteria and is easy to clean with soap and water. The silicone does have a slight bit of drag. I didn’t need to use any lubrication, but the Ocean is compatible with water-based lubrication only. Do not use silicone based lubrication. - The Bimini Ocean comes in baby rose, ultramarine and pink. I think this vibe is pretty fantastic, but keep in mind the dimensions and that it may not “fit” every body.
